Stop copy-pasting from Cursor into web forms.

Use cases

Real forms. Less pasting.

FormFill is an AI form filler for the pages you already have to finish: Shopify Partner listings, job applications, SaaS onboarding, client portals, and any tab you can point Cursor or Claude at.

Marketplaces

Shopify Partner app submission

The Partner Dashboard wants a name, a tagline, pricing notes, and policy URLs. That copy usually already lives in the README you were editing with an agent.

The problem

Listing forms punish small mistakes. A tagline over the character limit, a privacy URL from the wrong environment, or a support email pasted from a draft gets the review kicked back. Password managers cannot help, because this text is not a saved identity. It is new writing.

How FormFill helps

  • Open the listing page and read the tab code from the extension popup.
  • In Cursor, point at the README and ask for a proposal for that tab. Tell the agent not to invent URLs.
  • The side panel shows ready fields and pauses. Captchas, staff passwords, and ungrounded links stay empty.
  • You fill, read the page, and submit yourself.

The outcome

Public listing copy moves from the repo to the form without a paste loop. The review that Shopify actually cares about, accuracy, stays with you. Read the longer guide on autofilling the Shopify Partner Dashboard safely.

Careers

Job applications

Applications repeat the same questions in different widgets. The facts should come from your resume, not from a model that is happy to invent a metric.

The problem

Each employer rebuilds the work history form. You answer "why this role" in Claude, then retype it into a 500-character box that silently truncates. Worse, a careless autofill can add a tool you have not used or a date that is off by a year.

How FormFill helps

  • Give the assistant only the resume and the job post. Ask it to refuse any claim that is not in those sources.
  • Map short answers into the live fields. If a required question has no source sentence, FormFill pauses it as missing.
  • Work-authorization checkboxes, salary expectations you have not decided, and assessment uploads stay paused.
  • You read the paused fields and submit on the employer site.

The outcome

The repetitive boxes fill from real history. The answers that need judgment stay blank until you write them. Nothing about this flow is a way to fake experience.

B2B signup

SaaS onboarding and company profile forms

Vendor onboarding and "tell us about the company" forms sit between a signed contract and a working account. They feel like KYC even when they are just a long questionnaire.

The problem

Legal name, billing address, DUNS, support URL, security contact, and a paragraph on data processing show up in a different order on every vendor. The source of truth is a doc in the drive, not the form. People paste the security overview into the billing notes.

How FormFill helps

  • Point the assistant at the company profile you maintain, not at a guess.
  • FormFill maps public company facts into matching labels and pauses government ID uploads, beneficial-owner attestations, and any "I certify" box.
  • If the form asks for a secret such as an API token, the field is treated as sensitive and left blank.
  • A human with signing authority reviews the pauses and submits.

The outcome

The questionnaire moves faster. Identity documents and legal attestations still require a person. FormFill does not bypass a vendor's verification. It only drafts the fields you already have answers for.

Client work

Agency client portals

Agencies retype brand facts, offer details, and campaign URLs into client portals, ad accounts, and intake forms that all want the same paragraph.

The problem

The approved language lives in a brief. The portal wants it in twelve labeled boxes, and a junior teammate is the one logged in. One wrong URL in a tracking template wastes the client's media spend. Submitting "on behalf of" the client without a review is how accounts get locked.

How FormFill helps

  • Keep the approved brief in the chat. Ask the agent to use that voice and no other.
  • The extension fills the portal fields that match the brief and pauses anything that is a spend cap, a payment method, or a legal acceptance.
  • The side panel is the review the account lead actually reads. Undo is there if a field mapped to the wrong client.
  • Confirm the portal URL. A lookalike login page is a pause, not a fill.

The outcome

Intake stops being a typing job. The client still approves money, credentials, and anything that would submit a campaign. Seats on the Business plan share one license instead of passing a personal API key around.

Agents

Cursor, Claude, and Codex fill a live tab

Agentic form filling works when the agent can name one tab and read its fields, instead of clicking around a screenshot until something looks like a submit button.

The problem

A browser agent with a vague instruction ("fill the form") will pick the wrong window, miss a required field inside a shadow root, or click submit because the button was in view. You wanted a draft. You got a submission.

How FormFill helps

  • The extension registers a session for one tab code and one URL.
  • Cursor, Claude, or Codex calls the MCP tools for that code only: fetch fields, propose values, stop.
  • The propose step stores a fill job and returns pauses. The extension, not the model, types into the page.
  • Submit stays a human action. Captcha stays a human action. A URL change since the session opened is a pause.

The outcome

The agent does the mapping work it is good at. The extension does the DOM work it is good at. You keep the decision to send. The same tab code works across assistants, so you are not locked to one chat client.
